This years two Day Jurassic Open Boat Match took place on the weekend of 21st & 22nd July & was fished in fine conditions with forty one Anglers competing for the 200.00 top prize. Fishing was steady on both days with good numbers of Plaice, black bream and mackerel coming to the scales. A total of eleven species of fish were caught over the two days. Species such as dogfish and wrasse are not included in a conservation effort. 

Prizes are awarded for each day as well as the overall top prize with several anglers taking home a nice pay day. The overall winner came from the Charter Boat Pegasus from Lyme Regis. Paul Fisher taking the top prize with a Red Gurnard and a nice undulate ray pictured below.

Overall standings:
1st: Paul Fisher red gurnard 67% & undulate ray 76% 143%, total.
2nd: Rod Barr plaice 60% & black bream 81%, 141% total
3rd: Mike Hansell black bream 79% & scad 56%, 135% total
Most Species: Paul Fisher 6 species
